Threatened and Endangered Species!

Australia is a biodiversity hotspot, and we are truly lucky to share our land with such a huge range of incredible wildlife.

Sadly, though,
many of our native species are in trouble.

Australia leads the way for mammal extinctions in the modern era (at least 33 species gone forever). We’ve lost amphibians, birds, reptiles, fish, invertebrates, and there are plenty more species in serious trouble - and when many of these species aren’t as well known as the Koala or Tassie devil, it makes it much harder to get the support needed to save them.

In our On The Brink presentation, we bring you up close with some of our most at-risk species, jumping into real-life case studies on what caused each species’ decline, what’s being done, and what we can do to help!
